Bingo! I don?t ask for rates, I contact the girl and tell her what it pays. I?ve never been turned down for a shoot. We work out a convenient schedule and make the shoot happen.
I had one girl whose boy/girl rate was $7,000.00. Rather than turning down the shoot, she told me that she would do the scene for free if her boyfriend could be the male talent. Her rationale was that she did not want anyone to know that she worked for less than her rate. She did sign a model release showing compensation of $7,000.00.
Given the current state of the economy, rates have fallen considerably in porn valley.
