But things have been extremely quiet when it comes to the mexican drug war. We worry about terrorists that strike every few months. Well the mexican people are living in terror on a daily basis. this brings up a discussion that we were having about censorship in another thread here last week, where a bunch of people here were saying that a site should be censored for having graphic video of a guy getting murdered, and Eric came into the thread at the end and deleted the link to the video and said that there would be no warning and banning for linking to graphic videos in the future
some argued that news is news no matter how graphic, and shouldn't be censored, while some saying "ban the site and contact the government and tell the authorities to censor it" yet they could give no definition of what should be considered censorable or not

yeah at very least he shoulda been armed...he was pretty much fucked either way, mighta got shots off on the first to enter but the second woulda had him easy...also they had the element of surprise, hard to go from sitting on your ass for hours to pulling your weapon and getting off shots...specially when it all happens in 5 seconds...my sig caught gonoherpasyphilaids and died

fair enough, so if the murder is for thrills, it should be censored, but if it is for making a drug criminal point then it is fine?
I was just curious as to where the guidelines are drawn, that was my main question for those that were demanding that the authorities bring down some websites.

The accompanying text says he was working there as unarmed security for $90 a month - not sure if the figure is a type or not, but that's one shitty job any way you look at it. It also says he wanted to save up money from that job for his daughter celebration of 15th birthday. Damn
PS - as per the title of thread. I wouldn't call the video "extremely graphic". It could be disturbing or upsetting, but only a little blood was visible. Graphic aspect of the video is actually not that high.Comment
