That's true... I'm sitting in front of an el-cheap-o ($250) IDE 2 drive RAID right now at my PC, and it has *zero* downtime. I can't believe a hosting company can't do at *least* that. Sounds like a complete bullshit excuse. My guess is that they have one hard drive for the whole damn thing, and they're busily restoring the backup right now. What a nightmare! Do people actually PAY them money for that??
