Well, a couple months ago I was at Ad Tech in NYC and decided to stop by the Bruce Clay booth.

I told them that I had read on their main site and their blog about the assertion that 3 percent of all Web sites have dedicated IPs, with the other 97 percent resting on shared IPs and 90 percent of the top-50 results were using dedicated IP numbers.

I told them that I had read assertions that this was some rambling by a blogger.

They assured me that not only do they stand by their comment but all contracts with them insist that their client uses a dedicated IP.

They do not sell hosting, they are not an affiliate. They have nothing to gain by insisting on dedicated IP's. Yet if you want to use their service you must have a dedicated IP, or go elsewhere.
