Hah! And thats the correct answer. The odds are in your favour on a dedicated IP, but a shared IP isnt necessarily that bad. Its funny how ppl give this so much focus. After all, if you are indeed hosting on dedicated IPs there are sooo many other possibilities to improve/fuck up your rankings which are totally neglected or not known to the "common" webmaster. Just consider all the muppets who buy one dedicated server, put 10 different C-class IPs and start crosslinking them? Gbot cant check hostnames? Gbot cant figure out what IPs that are pooled to the same DC?
