Design Contests are for people who are either too lazy to research designers and pick one they like and are comfortable with... OR they are for people who have no clue what they want, so they want a bunch of people to gather around and focus on their little project so they can sit back and play King for a day while they pick the winner OR they are for scammers.
None of which many designers are into. For serious designers... Design is WORK, not PLAY... Contests are for PLAY. But good luck anyhow.
