I just saw the preview for The Tale of Despereaux, again, and it got me thinking. Some of our favorite characters are mice or rats. Mickey and Minnie, The Secet of Nimh, Cinderella's mice, Fivel, etc., but many people are terriffied of mice and rats.

My uncle's barn got infested as he travels in the summer and was pretty much just tossing tuff in there and since they live in a less inhabited area, was leaving the door open. They were likely in there before, but whatever make him feel better, lol. He talked me into helping him clear out the barn and clean it out. The rats nests seemed plentiful, but I was clearing out one, a rat came running over my shoe. Don'y know when the last time was I reacted like that.

A lot of people would/do react that way, yet so many of our cartoon favorites are mice. Just found that intereting.
