For instance he never thought it necessary to sign licenses when he sold content, he was very poor on 2257 his answer was he knew it was legal and I knew him. So we fell out over my insistence that on his new DVDs he ties his scenes with the right paperwork or I would not broker his new DVDs.
He felt I should do it and we found it a long and risky task often unable to tie the scene to the paperwork. So we decided that as we could not do the job properly we would not sell his content. We took all this content down.
And after many years we fell out.
Prior to this we had bought many discs of Johns older picture content on the basis we had the license to do with it as we please. There is no question of it going to a paysite as we never had one 9 years ago, it was only meant for the content store.
We did not take this content on a brokering arrangement, it was bought out right for us to sell on the stores. We never ever paid John any commission, he never asked for any money for these sets and in late 2003 or maybe 2004 he came to Czech to shoot scenes here. Do you think he would of done that if I had of owed him money for his content?
If he says we were brokering it then and stopped paying he would have money transfers or checks from us. If he does not then he's not telling you the truth.
