The sad part is, I always put it in some obscure place and say, "ok, I'll remember I put it here, because, well how could I possibly forget I put it here. I mean really... who puts their keys under their shoes?"

In my mind I can't walk out the door unless I put my shoes on, so I'd see them. 2 hours later I'm tearing the fucking house apart looking for my keys so I can go out. There's no point in putting my shoes on until I find my keys. And I can't find my keys because I won't put my shoes on.

The problem with being forgetful, is that you FORGET you're FORGETFUL! So every time you put something down, you just assume you'll remember later. Same thing goes for passwords. I think, ok... I'll use this password and then there is no way I could ever forget it. 2 minutes later... I've forgotten it. I generally use variations of baddog. Baddog69. Baddog1802 (the year of his birth). baddog2020 (like Mad Dog 2020)... and yes I always forget which one goes with which username.
