I used GH for a few months a few years back that I got prescribed at a local "rejuvenation" place here in South Florida before I went up to see Dr. Crisler. I didn't feel any significant results at the dosages I was using and I was concerned about side effects from using it in the long term, so I quit growth and decided to save that for when I am older, perhaps in my fifties and the results may be more pronounced and useful.
Testosterone however, is something that can have an almost immediate and noticeable effect on any male even as young as thirty years old or so. The gel (or shots if you prefer) is inexpensive, very easy to apply and can boost your energy, supercharge your libido and help your overall mood and mental state, especially if you are also living a healthy lifestyle and exercising. It basically gets you to the testosterone levels you had when you were eighteen or twenty years old. You are fighting one major element of the aging process in a big way in this manner an avoiding many negatives in the process, like loss of muscle mass, buildup of fat, loss of mental acuity, loss of erectile hardness etc. And it certainly helps to have that edge when you are pushing hard in the gym, dealing with daily stress or fucking two girls simultaneously whose combined ages don't add up to yours.
Some guys don't have such awesome results and the benefits work a lot better with a diet and exercise. Don't expect to feel like superman using testosterone if you are overweight, doing drugs and eat McDonalds every day! If you are prone to male pattern baldness you are likely to accelerate that process significantly so that may also be a concern to some. But I have not experienced any other negative side effects whatsoever.
