This is what I
ALWAYS do. All my computers were assembled by myself, so I have there ONLY those components I really need. I.e. I don't have a remote IR control or a Webam (yes, I sell cam models, but I don't pose on cams myself

). So my computers are not Macs and are not PC's. They are just some other sort of IBM clones. Let's call them CXXXC (
CyberXXX Computer
).
Now let me say about the price. Of course my CXXXC's are about 2 times cheaper than other IBM clones known as Macs and PC's. I don't have any unnecessary shit there, but those componets I have are 100% best ones for my needs. Both Windows and Mac OS X can be easy installed and run just fine on my self-assembled CXXXC's
So is there any reason to buy expensive Mac which is just the same clone of IBM like my CXXXC, has lots of unuseful hardware inside and lacks of very important (I mean important to mee) components? Please give me at least one reason to by one of those expensive made-in-china Intel-powered Macs, Compaq's, Sony's etc.
