I have the utmost faith in Jeff Ireland as the GM since he is a Parcells disciple, but I would hate to see Parcells one and done with the Dolphins, and if he goes back to the Jets I would fucking lose it. Hopefully Stephen Ross proves to Tuna that he is a hands off owner and talks him into staying...

I don't think he's going anywhere.
You have to look at it from the owner's point of view. Why would I hire a guy who's willing to walk after just 1 year with the Dolphins when they gave him everything he asked for and paid him more than anyone in a similar job (if anyone else even has a similar job)?
Plus who would Parcells hire to be the coach and GM at the next place? He's already raided the Dallas staff and roster to fill the Miami one.
For him it's not about the money, it's about the owner staying out of his hair....that's what pissed him off in NE and NY, and eventually led to him leaving Dallas as well. (T.O. anyone?.....btw, Parcells was right to not want him)
So this just gives him leverage to negotiate a side deal with the new owner to stay hands off. If the new guy wants to be Dan Snyder or Jerry Jones then Parcells is outta there.
