Do you have plans to visit Haleakala? My suggestion to you, (and I'm sure you've been before,) go rent a hog (no helmet laws there) and ride to Hana.

Oh also, Paia is an old Hippy town, I'm sure you'll fit right in. Willie Nelson frequents a restaurant there. Up the road away is Makawao. There's a little mexican joint that Santana frequents. We saw him there once.
