Isn't baddog's business based on straight up reselling/being a middleman for other people's stuff? I checked out that SexPicturesPass program a long time ago. If I remember correctly, it was paying out $20 to webmasters while collecting $25 (maybe more for bulk) from Flynt Digital on a fixed upsell (i.e. there was no way of unchecking it). It seemed that the profit just came from taking advantage of the $5 difference (plus any exit consoles and member area upsells that might have existed). 2 minutes investigation and it was pretty clear to see what was going on, and that's fine... but as a webma$tah I'd like to get as close to the source and cut out as many middlemen as possible... so in that case I'd rather upsell Flynt Digital by myself than do it through baddog.

I've seen him mention his hosting co on this board but never checked it out. If the hosting co is a middleman for a larger host, it shouldn't be so difficult to find out. In that case, if I were considering using his service, I'd do my research beforehand and then go straight to the source, if one exists.

On a sidenote, I'm currently making some nice cash reselling mainstream tangiable products myself, so middlemen aren't always a bad thing. It depends which side of the business you're on.
