I use Gallery Daemon, Arylia and UUGallery.
If you are adding to a wordpress blog, I would use uugallery since its integrated right into wordpress.
Gallery Daemon and Arylia are built for making galleries outside of the program, either for submitting or posting on your own site.
Although you could always make galleries, and link to them from a large thumb in a post.
For cheap people (not saying your cheap) the free solution would be to use robogallery plugin which a lot of celeb sites use.
You could hack up the template to use a custom field for a sponsor which ever you are promoting at the time of the gallery creation.
