Why are we talking about the United States and Iran? Yes, the United States has power over Israel. Yes, Iran has power over the Palestinians and Hamas. It isn't, though, all encompassing power. Those people do what they want and what they think is right for them, despite what their friends tell them.
They just need to fight until they can't fight anymore... enough of these peace Band-Aids. Let them have their war. Every time the "international community" gets in the middle of a war all it does is turn a one-year battle into a 20 year revolving door crisis.
