My sis tried match.com and eharmony.com.. as did one of the girls who worked for me.
My sis met one guy on match.com who lied about being married before and his age by 12 years.
The next guy she met on eharmony for a new years date... told her that the reason someone else answers the phone every time she calls is because he is in sober living and just got out of prison for a heroin charge and is working on his addiction.

If you're going to meet people online.. go to websites/forums that are related to your interests... Do not go to a dating site.
Also join some clubs on meetup.com ... it sounds lame, but it'll be full group meetups and not one on one with psychos.
