To say they did is either the crying of a whiner, or of someone who just doesn't know hockey enough to know the difference between tough play and dirty play. Which one are you?

Agreed, Sweden's penalty kill wasn't very effective this game, and neither was their power play.

I have no doubt the Swedes will continue to be serious contenders, they only seem to get better and better. But to imply that Canada played dirty just isn't right. Our mandate has never been to play the game that way. There are exceptions of course, but there are exceptions in every country's teams, certain individuals who give a little more punishment than they should, lose their cool easier, etc.
If anything Canada's hockey teams seem to push the players of other countries to become better, in order to some day... beat us.
