Israel doesnt need the "right" to exist, it's existence is self evident. As long as they control the territory and have a government and a military, Israel will be there.

History is written by the winners - in this case, Israel wins. I guess we live in a world where the political maps are so stable, that it seems wild and crazy when there is an unstable place.
