WTF seriously. It is winter time. Why in the hell are we getting 75+ degree weather and no fucking rain? Next week is supposed to be even warmer. Not that I like or really want it to get as cold as it should be. I just know this is not right and will not be good come summer time. Our area supplies much of California with its summer water supply and we are not getting shit water wise this year.

We have not had any positive rain years for a bit now so we were already down storage wise in the snow pack and in the lakes. Then as of now we are running about 50% of average when we need to be above average to make up for the past years of running low. It is really going to suck this year and all signs are leading towards a drought in California very damn soon.

You can actually walk across on dry land places that have not been exposed in the lakes up here since well the damn went up. You can also play in dirt that has not seen sun in gawd knows how many decades if not centuries of being under snow pack.

Which I am curious if it is this bad here. How is the other major water sheds in the US doing? Lake mead etc?
