I see the concern that people don't want to pay for the video by the minute after
buying the device, however, people are already paying by the minute to watch
these movies. For those people this is just an upsale :
"and for a additional one time fee of $149 get the toy and now it jacks you off
while you watch our movies like you normally do".
There are different ways to look at it.
