From the sounds of it sunny paid for "natural" seo not blackhat seo . If she recieved blackhat seo work then sh didnt get what she paid for and thus the contract is invalid. Just from reading the thread it sounds like this very well could be the case. From the wording lindsay used it sounds like thats what she was promising, looking at the backlinks that may not have been what sunny got.
Getting a domain banned that is the key to your business would be alot more costly than 9k
