Not only will the DDoS your site to a smoldering pile of ashes, they are very astute at finding the identities of the perpetrators (name, address, family members, every social media app) and exact a serious real life toll. The point of /b/ is to troll and basically act retarded however many of them have serious professions (a lot in computer sciences) so they are good at causing mayhem online. They operate on a mob mentality in the thousands and will often "raid" just for the "lulz". Bottom line you don't want to be on the wrong end of their wrath.
