I hear that...
I have a congenital (that means I was born with it) spinal condition, which makes it uncomfortable to sit up straight (my lower back goes all numb).
I used to catch hell in school for my posture, until my Doctor spoke to the school officials, and I was subsequently allowed to sit in the back of the class and slouch.
I had the same problem at boot camp in the Navy - standing at attention for any period of time caused me excruciating pain. I was finally relieved from that requirement.
To this day, I have to fidget when standing in a line to keep from getting paralyzing pain. When I play tennis, I can't sit down in between changeovers or my back and hips lock up. When I drive home in my car after tennis, I practically have to pry myself out of the car.
I'm so used to the low grade pain, that I pretty much don't notice it at all. Once every few years though I twist my back, and if Icy-Hot patches don't work, I end up getting ultrasound treatments which are magical...
