I don't think people clue in to the problem here. If you need to bring up the color of his skin in an argument, then you have a problem. HIS problem is that even though he is 'more white than black' he has been treated as a black man his whole life.
It doesn't matter what your heritage is, you aren't judged by that... You are judged by what you look like on the outside.
Personally I am thrilled that a country that built its original power on the back of slaves has someone in charge that isn't some lily white WASP honky mofo. When Canada does the same, I will feel better about where I live too.
*edit - I'm about as white as you can get (after Dwreck of course) so my comments have nothing to do with me being part of a minority.
