In this country, race is defined by how you look, not your parent's ethnicity. I'm half black, and half asian, and other than my family, everyone viewed me and called me black and treated me as an african-american first. Thus I received the benefits (curious white women LMAO) and the baggage (racism) that come with being "black" in this country. I call myself black because I went through the black experiance. Obama is doing the same thing.
