More like if you direct a person to a swap meet. They might find stolen stuff there, it might be legit.
It would be more cut and dry if tubes sites were simply "Illegal" like people want them to be. Unfortunately the way DMCA is written many of them are immoral and wrong but probably not illegal.
Please don't start with the "everyone knows" or "it's common knowledge" about owners doing the uploading. If it were so cut and dry these "illegal" sites would be getting prosecuted. They're not yet.
Further, how is this idiot's indexing any different than what Google does? Is Google breaking the law too?
