I actually had my 8 y/o watch it last week as well, she could not understand why I damn near fell off my chair laughing when I saw the title in the guide so I had to show her what the biggest movie on HBO was lol.
Of course in the last 8 years I've also subjected her to Punky Brewster, Alf, Silver Spoons, Cartoon Allstars to the rescue (remember that one?) ABC Afterschool specials, and of course my favs.... The Great Space Coaster, and all the old Sid & Marty Kroft shows!
