Seriously though Austin has some of the best BBQ ever! Stubbs, Rubys, Coopers... the list goes on.
Mediocre at best? Please, NC, KS, TN, have nothing on Texas. Though what I really miss is the tex-mex, I cant find anything close to it here in DC.
