Still trying to get .XXX approved.. but with ICANN's last ruling about getting rid of the "sponsored TLD", it paves the way for .XXX or .SEX, or .WHATEVER to get approved.
Many who opposed .XXX (like myself) was due to the "sponsored" part.
As a standalone TLD, its no different than .biz, .info, etc (and look how well those did)
The domainers and registrars are certainly waiting for the .XXX application to be approved for the "landrush" to register the "premium" .XXX domains
May the mighty dollar determine if webmasters want to buy into paying premium rates like you see with .TV or having high yearly renewals that can be raised.
Fight the .$$$!
