MMA champions nowadays have to master several very complex fighting disciplines. Race and innate strength are only a small part of the equation, so I wouldn't think that you will see any increasing percentage of African-American champions rather than any other ethnicity. If anything, you are more likely to see more international (non-American) fighters contending and winning titles in the UFC, WEC and other organizations as the sport goes global.
