differ all you want. i would never sway someone against buying a hyphenated domain if it's got the keywords they are looking for. i know plenty of people killing the serps with hyphenated domains, and i've placed hyphenated domains of my own well in google and yahoo. if "caught on camera" is what he's going for he's got a decent enough standing. the only thing i don't like about the domains is the "its". but for all intensive purposes, i don't think he's going to have it any harder with the hyphenated version of the domain he has vs the unhyphenated...
now all the self proclaimed seo geniouses can come here and tell me otherwise. whatever...
edit: the point regarding typeins is entirely valid though. as far as brandability goes, the domain kind of sucks. would make a fine gate/doorway page though.
