Promoting hatred is a crime in Canada, and especialy a politician spewing hate or making public comments of a discriminiatory nature should be dealt with, and I agree with that. However I find myself having little sympathy where Muslim extremists are concerned. These are people who march in the streets of the Middle East carrying placards calling for beheadings over a cartoon. They cry for executions when a female teacher allowed her young student to name a class pet the same name as their beloved object of worship.
We're talking people who will slink across the Mediterranean in the night and in the morning incinerate your car while your family is inside if they believe your words have slighted them in some way.
Personally I rather like the
Australian take on the situation rather than the route the Dutch are taking.
