ah christ, I think in all my time at GFY i've gone into a contest thread once or twice. If memory serves, I've never posted in one, though. However......void any opinion I may have on this situation because it like this: i'm not here for contests, i dont fucking care about contests, and its pretty fucking easy for me to ignore contests.

I've never once seen a "what a fucking great contest so and so had" thread, I've seen a few "I didnt get my prize" threads though.

If I had my way GFY wouldn't do away with the contests, GFY would do away with the contest whores, the obvious surfers, and the motherfuckers who bring all the drama here. That includes the known scammers and the dipshits who managed to get banned for being outright assholes. Fuck post bots too.

Yeah, GFY has laid out rules for contests and those rules more or less get ignored like the Bush administration ignored the Bill of Rights, but I really have to be honest in saying the only people I EVER see bitching about contests are the people who come here only for the contests.
