I've been using 4.14 myself all this time, and the registration server still works for me for that version. Whenever I take my laptop out of town, which I just did recently, I had to transfer the registration with no problem, then same thing once I got back home to my desktop.
I read people having problems with this as well on AS forum, not sure if it's only for the newer versions.
Last time I had looked at 5-Beta, the beginnings of the category specific recip feature were in place, but it had not been perfected, that's why I went back to 4.14 and have stayed there since.
I don't have any problems using 4.14 with IE7, I do have a seperate .exe that I use to overwrite the original, if anyone needs this file, post an email and I'll send it over. 4.14 was the best stable version in my opinion and still works great with XP Pro and IE7. This patched .exe was given to me by the AS programmer, before he went MIA.
