Yes, and trust me, you want to get rid of the problem before it gets worse. You need to look up the proper way to sit at the desk, arm exercises, and you may need to look into a different type of mouse device. The typical kind which has your hand palm-down rotates your arm at an unnatural angle.

Mine got so bad it was keeping me awake at night. It spread from my shoulder to my upper arm area, then down and across my back to my spine and shoulder blade area, then up my neck. Every day i felt worse. I started seeing a massage therapist and made some changes in the way I work, and it's starting to make a big difference. Ibuprofen (Advil) can help in the mean time as it is a mild anti-inflammatory.
