One of those news shows (20/20, primetime, etc) did a story on such. Really seems that just about everyone agrees they are just about useless (read most college education) unless you are after something that REALLY requires it such as lawyer, doctor, etc.
They did really express and show how trade schools on the other hand are surefire winners and worth every dime.

I know I rather pick up skill sets than other forms of education.
