The real problem nowadays is that the majority of cooked meat that humans are consuming is "processed meat." Take the Eskimos (before they became westernized) for instance... They ate a diet VERY high in animal fats (whale blubber, fat from seals, etc), yet they had NO instances of heart disease, diabetes, obesity or any other degenerative diseases. Why? Becauese none of the meat they ate was processed. And they also ate a lot of fish too. Which is good for the heart.

And if anyone thinks this just pertains to fast food, they are wrong. Some of the meat you buy in supermarkets is almost as bad. You need to look closely at the labels to make sure antibiotics or hormones weren't added. You want to buy meat where the animals were fed its "natural diet."
