Sitting at a desk every day doesn't make you fat. If you actually look around most offices, what proportion of people are fat? Most of my friends work desk jobs and only a small percentage are fat.
I actually saw a documentary on the BBC last week where they took about 10 skinny people and made them eat enormous amounts of food (fast food, cake, chocolate, etc) for 4 weeks without doing any exercise. They all put on varying amounts of weight, but the interesting thing was that, after the experiment, they all shed the weight and went back to their normal size in no time at all - without even trying. They had loads of scientists n shit giving their theories and they concluded that whatever weight you grow up to be, that's your body's natural weight. So no matter how hard you try to gain or lose weight, your body will always fight to get back to what it considers to be your natural weight.
