The words are nice, and it does take a big man to come out publicly and say them, but now comes the real challenge...
Because at the end of the day they're only words. The hard part is the action, the doing, the making things right, the devouring of the humble pie, usually right after prying one's proverbial head out of one's proverbial ass.
