Seriously, I'll bet actors screw up more scenes more than technical people do...granted there are certain directors too that are known to have meltdowns with some frequency as well.
In my ten years or so of shooting, I've had people roam in the background of a shot, people leave a cell phone on (even though everyone on set is reminded to turn off their cell phones or put them on silent), had lights or other objects fall over, and had every other kind of error occur on set, human or otherwise (blown fuses, etc), and I have never lost it like that. I don't think I take my small budget projects any less seriously, and I am wearing multiple hats.
There is enough stress on a set without people letting their emotions and egos get the better of them.
For the millions they get paid, entertainers should be a helluva a lot more humble.
