I believe that you said you used to work on mainstream movie sets (or maybe I'm thinking of RedShoe) - so does your post mean that you walked into a scene and set-off Adrian Zmed (I guessed that is who you meant)?
Zmed is the dude on the right in this picture from TJ Hooker.
If anyone has a right to rant, I would think it might be William Shatner (on the left above), since a new Star Trek prequel is coming out with a new Kirk (played by Chris Pine).
And to bring this convoluted obscure reference post full circle, Chris Pine and Christian Bale are co-starring in a movie currently in production about Columbian cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar (former head of the Medellin drug cartel), titled "Killing Pablo".
