Recently I have been hearing ads for Citibank business accounts offering the check scanner free, so I thought maybe this was getting to be more a regular service. I checked with Wells Fargo again, this time they have all the info. Seems its tied to your merchant services. They want $400+ for the scanner or monthy lease of $35 something. Plus, it a per check fee and a percentage just like the merchant account. I thought it was kinda of expensive.
