honestly... i dont think D is "itching to use his gun" like you think
he packs it with him to protect himself if the case arises... Ill bet money that Danza DOSNT want to shoot anyone and has never looked for a reason to shoot someone...
shit... hes in vegas... if the mother fucker wanted to and was determined like you say... it would be super easy to lure a bum onto his porch and unload with ease...
As for the scanner... i myself used to have one purely for entertainment... yes D may have taken it another step and actually responded to what he heard... but ill bet money again that he has reacted to 0.002% of the calls hes heard and within those actual responses probably done nothing to hinder the process of the officials...
