Playboy has rarely had black Playmates and I read that when they do their newsstand sales go down.

Playboy used to have at least one black or asian Playmate a year and sometimes both. When I was looking for Playmate prospects I always kept my eye out for them because the right one would be a sure thing as opposed to all the dime a dozen blondes. I don't know how they affected newsstand sales.
I've always thought a black girl solo site would be profitable given the right girl and aimed in the right direction. I would guess that a black man is less likely to join than a white man so I would target that demographic in the site design.
To answer your question, I don't think a black family in the white house will make as much of difference as a President that strengthens the economy would.
