I just finished a project I was doing for 530 Media, which I think looks dead sexy.
Pretty much it allows webmasters to register, log in and browse a list of inventory of sites offering blog posts, and hard links for sale. When you get inside, you have a shopping cart where you can add products too and then check out, which then goes into a queue in the admin for you to view and then contact them about payment (that's how they want it, possibly having a payment gateway reworked into it in the future), and it also creates invoices for the admin.
Then when payment is received the admin will then set the invoice as paid and go to the links page and add the links with expiration date, along with attaching the user and invoice to it where the system then monitors all links every day and once the link expiration comes to 1 month away, it emails the user and lets them know so they can renew, then at 15 days, then 1 day, before removing it from the site as soon as the expiration day hits.
Then on every site that you want the links shown on, you insert a small snippet of code and boom the links are live.
I'm very proud to have finished this! Took me 1 week from the day the details were discussed to the today when I finished the last bits up.
