wouldnt say for sure but that looks like a turbo or super charger blew. doesnt appear to be a car bomb or anything like that...they are generally placed to cause fuel ignition.
probably no damage to the passenger compartment.
I mean other than the shit stain that'd have been on the seat if I were sitting in it
