Purely professional insight here.

You shouldn't have to part with any of the money. You should still make the same amount as you used to. Raise your prices to pay your lead generation personnel.

That way you don't see any money disappearing and you won't feel like you are giving up a part of "your" money.

If you have someone here for you, you don't have to be here where your mouth has sometimes gotten you in trouble, AND you will be able to accomplish that much more, and deliver products faster because GFY won't be holding you back.

I spend 1/10th of the time here that I used to. It shows in many areas.

I think you also would benefit more from focusing on what you do well, which is design shit. I've never seen you get into something that didn't end up being a full blown war with someone, and ultimately hurting the way people perceive you and their thoughts on your professionalism. I'm no one to talk, I just have picked my battles a little more carefully. Your board meltdowns scare people.

I think you're making a great move.
