You most people in ther on drug charges are in there on OTHER charges. If someone gets high on pot and robs my house even if I think pot should be legal I still want the fucker in jail for robbing my house. Mnay are in ther for DEALING. Sorry HUGE difference between a occasional user and a dealer.

the answer is more prisons. You'll created jobs building the prison and having to staff them. that's great for the economy. Non violent offenders need to be in seperate prison than violent prisoners. Lifers and long term inmates need to be held in the same area as death row inmates and away from inmates that will be getting out soon.
