I talked to their sales rep asking if they would host a gore blog, because I had a self proclaimed vigilante internet morality cop after me who took the liberty of complaining to the hosts about the site. I was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem. Two days later, my site was taken down accusing me that I failed to tell them I had rape on there. I asked if they could show me where on the site I had rape. Since there was none, I got a response that – well, no rape, but you have scat, which is also illegal. So I asked, can you show me where there is scat on the site? Could not show again, because there was none. It went on like that – they simply proved they shoot first, think later. They disable sites at will, without reason and without verifying whether there really is anything illegal on the site. It’s sort of like.
To be fair, it was later acknowledged by Naked Hosting that the site contained legal content and was re-enabled. Rep showed some form of interest to work it out, but I was already on my way away from there. In further fairness, I was issued full refund.
Would I recommend Naked Hosting? Let me answer question with question – do you like to see your sites off line just because someone from there didn’t appreciate the content??? I
As a side note – I have received the same form of treatment from Mojohost – disabling the sites based on personal likes or dislikes. You can’t help but hope techs at those hosts have enough gay in them, especially if you own gay sites. They could find it offensive seeing one guy getting ass fucked by another guy and disable your site because it’s “disgusting”.
